These bangles are cut from the show deck (stage floor) of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, on Broadway. Scenic Designed by Derek McLane.

The dark grey paint treatment from the floor has been preserved on the top of the bangle, and every scratch or imperfection tell the shows story and history. 

Many show decks used for Tours and on Broadway are made of a very strong laminate called EPG. This type of flooring withstands all kinds of heavy theatrical wear and tear like automation, dance, touring, but does not decompose well. Now, instead of going to a landfill, we are making these adorable bangles! You can literally wear your heart on your sleeve... or your arm anyway.
